On Wednesday, November 28 The Mighty Minions travelled to Edmonton for a field trip. Our first stop was the Aviation Museum. While there we toured the facility and learned a lot about various types of airplanes. As well, many of the students got to crawl inside of a fighter jet and play a fun flight simulator game. During the afternoon, we shifted venues to City Hall. Our guide, Bruce, was very informative. Not only did we get a “behind the scenes” tour of the building, students also got to act out a mock council meeting. They got to sit in the Mayor’s seat and other councillors’ seats. This field trip would not have been possible without the help of our wonderful parent volunteers: Mrs. Cross, Mrs. Hellofs, Mrs. Serediak and Mrs. Woolf.
